Out-of-hours dental care

If you have a dental problem outside of normal practice hours or are unable to make one of the times we can offer to you, please call NHS 111 for self-care advice or details of where you may access out-of-hours dental services in your area.

Go to the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department of your local hospital if you:

•    Have uncontrollable bleeding

•    Trauma of the face, mouth or teeth after a recent accident or injury

•    Swelling in the face or neck: this could be due to an abscess or an infection that is rapidly spreading. If left untreated then it can block the airway.
