Out-of-hours dental care
If you have a dental problem outside of normal practice hours or are unable to make one of the times we can offer to you, please call NHS 111 for self care advice or details of where you may access out-of-hours dental services in your area.
Go to the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department of your local hospital if you:
• Have uncontrollable bleeding
• Trauma of the face, mouth or teeth after a recent accident or injury
• Swelling in the face or neck: this could be due to an abscess or an infection that is rapidly spreading. If left untreated then it can block the airway.
