At New Cross Dental Practice we understand that on occasion, patients may require emergency dental treatment. Emergency dental care may include, but is not limited to lost crowns, toothache, abcesses, fractured teeth, facial swellings, trauma and broken fillings.
We aim to see both registered and unregistered patients in pain within 24 hours. If you have a dental emergency please call us on 0208 692 3472 to arrange an emergency appointment.
Out-of-hours dental care
If you have a dental problem outside normal practice hours please call NHS 111 for self care advice or details of where you may access out-of-hours dental services in your area.
Go to the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department of your local hospital if you:
• Have uncontrollable bleeding
• Trauma of the face, mouth or teeth after a recent accident or injury
• Swelling in the face or neck: this could be due to an abscess or an infection that is rapidly spreading. If left untreated then it can block the airway.
